		<description>Hi Rob,

Thank you for visiting and providing more detail. Mosso may have been founded in Feb 2006 for web developers who wanted a reliable platform for their applications and email - without being the ones responsible for all the technology. However, as far as I have been able to establish, it seems to have become a a cloud services provider using virtualization only last year.

The first reference to the use of virtualization by Rackspace appears in the following press release in jan 2008

http://ir.rackspace.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=221673&amp;p=irol-newsArticle&amp;ID=1181652&amp;highlight=

followed by this announcement on TechCrunch on Feb 19, 2008

<description>Nice post. One correction - Mosso started in February 2006, not 2008. Our (now called Cloud Sites) offering has been online and available for over three years :)

Thanks,
